To keep your vessel's hull smooth and clear of any fouling, regular scheduled cleaning is required in Florida's Southwest tropical waters.

Leaving your vessel in the water will allow many different types of foreign objects to attach to your hull. For a variety of reasons including fuel economy, it's important to maintain a clean hull. Hull cleaning involves the cleaning from the waterline of the yacht or boat down to the bottom of the keel.

Allowing your boat to accumulate debris will cause a roughness in your ride over the waters. Algae, seaweed, slime and barnacles that build-up on your hull will cut down on the performance of your engine. Your engine will lose a few miles per hour of performance depending on the amount of build-up you have on your hull. All this extra strain will cut into the longevity of your engine and wear down parts faster.

Cleaning your yacht or boat monthly will save you on fuel and matainece costs as well as time required to get to your destination. Having your vessel cleaned each month will help save on fuel and your vessel will look sharper and will maneuver better.

Why is it important to have our professional divers handle the job. Charlotte Harbor is a naturally occurring bay. With over 130 miles of canals and water ways through the harbor, Port Charlotte is the place to kayak, fish, motor boat or sail in protected waters without ever entering the Gulf of Mexico or the intra-coastal waters. Charlotte Harbor is an inlet formed from two rivers. The Myakka River to the northwest and the Peace River to the east come together to form Charlotte Harbor. Yacht and boat owners who enjoy the open waters will find it easy to return back to their marina or docks in the Charlotte Harbor.

Punta Gorda is located between Sarasota and Fort Myers in Southwest Florida. It is located on a wide peninsula that projects into the Charlotte Harbor. Punta Gorda started out as a small fishing village and was named by the Indians as "fat point" in 1877. The railroad movement in the late 1800’s put Punta Gorda on the map. The railroad moved west from Miami and made Punta Gorda the "end of the line."

The waterfront canal communities of Burnt Store Isles and Punta Gorda Isles provide canal and direct access to Charlotte Harbor. For this reason, many large yachts and boats move in and out of Charlotte Harbor and Punta Gorda each day.
